Meet Wilson
Wilson Misiuk is a self-taught videographer who’s been turning big dreams into even bigger stories since his college days. With a love for people and their unique journeys, he uses his creative eye and imagination to work with athletes, businesses, and couples all over the U.S. Known for capturing unique shots and bringing them to life with music, effects, and creative edits. Wilson’s all about making stories unforgettable—and having fun while doing it.
Most projects are personally handled by Wilson Misiuk, with additional creatives brought in as needed to tailor each project for the best results.
What you should know:
I grew up on the field, with football and lacrosse as my jam. So, when I first picked up a camera, it was only natural to head back to where I felt at home—capturing athletes in their element. Fast forward a few years, and I’ve had some pinch-me moments, like filming Pro Bowl in Las Vegas or flying a drone through the OSU football training center. (Yes, I had to remind myself to “play it cool.”)
Growing up with parents who run a business together has been a huge inspiration for me. Watching them hustle every day taught me what it really takes to run a business—and that behind every brand are hardworking people with amazing stories to tell. That’s why I love helping bring those stories to life in ways they never imagined, creating videos that showcase the heart and soul behind the business.
Growing up with two sisters, I was totally outnumbered when it came to movie nights—Disney movies and chick flicks were always on repeat. And honestly? As cheesy as it sounds, I loved them. They’re actually great movies! Maybe it’s because I’m a bit of a softie, but that’s why I love filming weddings. It feels like I’m creating one of those magical love stories. One of my favorite moments was filming my neighbors’ weddings—basically my honorary older sisters. I won’t lie, I got a little teary-eyed... but hey, no judgment, right?
I’m always up for learning something new, and my love for finding creative ways to capture unique shots led me to get my drone license and dive into aerial photography. I wanted to take my videos to the next level and get perspectives a regular camera just can’t achieve. Since then, I’ve flown drones in some wild places and created some seriously cool videos. And yes, I learned the hard way (just once!) about the importance of saving files properly—lesson learned!
